Pegasus Global Holdings anounces Bob Brumley’s return as Managing Director
Washington, D.C. May 1, 2008 – Pegasus Global Holdings (Pegasus) announced today that Bob will returning to Pegasus Global Holdings after being the President and CEO of Terrestar Corporation. “I am excited to return the business I started almost a decade ago,” said Bob Brumley, Managing Director of Pegasus Global Holdings. “Pegasus will continue to develop new technologies for our customers and look forward to meeting the challenges ahead.” Bob Brumley is a Co-founder and Managing Director of Pegasus Global Holdings. Mr. Brumley brings extensive executive experience in the management and financing of early-stage ventures, particularly in aerospace, telecommunications and defense. He was the President and Chief Executive Officer of TerreStar Corporation 9formerly Motient Corp.) from 2006 to 2008, the President and Chief Executive Officer of TerreStar Global and TerreStar Corporation and Terrestar Networks Inc., from 2005 to 2008, having led both firms into the emerging field of Mobile Satellite and Ancillary Terrestrial Communications Systems; raising over $1 bn in private investment; and launching TerreStar on NASDAQ (TSTR). Also during this period, he was an Independent Director of iBasis Inc. He was appointed by President Reagan as Chief Legal Officer of the Department of Commerce and Senior Policy Advisor to the Secretary of Commerce and chaired the Reagan Administration policy group that privatized commercial space transportation. He has extensive experience as an international law practitioner and as a senior executive with global communications firms such as Deutsche Telekom and Bell Atlantic International (Verizon). He has assisted clients in developing international business relationships in the fast-growing regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Latin America and Asia. Bob Brumley holds a B.A in political Science and History from Esat Tennessee State University and J.D. from the University of Tennessee, George C. Taylor College of Law. He is an active member of the Virginia State Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from U.S. Marine Corps.
